along the southerly shores of the Baskatong reservoir, a

413 km² man-made lake that was formed in 1927 following the

construction of the Mercier Dam.

The Baskatong Reservoir enjoys an excellent reputation for

its fishing: walleye, pike, yellow perch, sturgeon, and

landlocked salmon, as well as for its magnificent beaches

and numerous islands.

The campground location in Mercier Bay is somewhat

sheltered from strong winds and bad weather.

The campground enjoys around 1000ft of waterfront land. It

is an amazing place for all nautical activities.
